OUR SHIPPING & RETURN POLICIES
Shipping time may be from 5 - 10 business days from receipt of your order, depending upon the products ordered for stock items. Due to the volume of cutters ordered any cutter order will not be in 10 BUSINESS DAYS! Some products are assembled after the order had been received, such as our Log Splitters, so it will depend on the volume of orders in house as to how soon your order may ship. Custom items or orders with a large quantity of items may take somewhat longer, especially during a busy time.
Default shipping is via UPS Ground. For packages weighing less than 2 lbs, or orders shipped to other countries, they will be sent the most economical way, usually via USPS.
You may request your preference if other than our default shipping methods in the More Information area of the shopping cart.
SHIPPING: To keep the cost of shipping your order as reasonable as possible, For Crafts Sake has opted not to have the shipping calculated in the shopping cart. As so many of our products are somewhat heavy and many of our orders contain more than one item, we feel it is much more economical and fair to all of our customers to calculate these charges after each order has been packaged and weighed to allow us to calculate the actual UPS or USPS charges for each order. We do add a very nominal fee to this to cover the cost of the carton, packaging and insurance.
If you would like us to estimate the shipping charges before you place an order, we would be happy to do so. Simply email us with the list of items you intend to order along with your zip code and we will calculate the charges as best we can.
Unless you request it, you will not receive an email with the shipping amount if you are paying with a credit card. When your order is ready to ship, you will receive a notice from our credit card processor that your credit card has been charged. This charge will include the shipping. For custom orders the shipping charges may be a separate charge on your card.
When paying via PAYPAL, you will be sent a request for shipping charges via PayPal when the order has been packaged and the shipping charges calculated.. Your order will not ship until we receive notice from PayPal that these charges have cleared. This does NOT mean you order will be shipped the same day you submit payment and may potentially put the shipping date out beyond the 10 day window.
Providing we have your correct email address, when your order has been sent, you will receive an email from UPS stating the order has been shipped and giving you the tracking number for your package.
If your order is shipped via USPS, there will be no email notification sent unless you request one.
NOTE: There is a possibility your credit card may be charged though our Orders Department in advance of shipping when an order with custom options/ items is placed.
Since many of our products are Custom-Manufactured this payment system does fall within the terms of Visa and Mastercard.
"Visa and Mastercard transactions for custom-ordered merchandise may be deposited on or after the order date - if the merchant has informed the customer that he will be billed prior to shipping."
All products and shipping charges MUST be paid in full before the order can leave our warehouse.
PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING CHARGES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
RETURNS: We will accept returns of products that have manufacturers defects. We CAN NOT accept returns of any CUSTOM PRODUCTS unless the materials or workmanship are defective.
YOU MUST request a return identification number by calling FOR CRAFTS SAKE prior to the return of the item. If you do not request a return number prior your return my be refused and you will be responsible for all shipping charges.
We will ship to International/Canadian addresses, and APO's via US Postal Service unless you request otherwise. Note: All Internation Order will be paid by Pay Pal, we will not settle your credit card.
We will inform you of the shipping costs ONLY at your request. If you do request estitmated shipping cost, you must then verify by sending us an email confirming acceptance of the shipping costs. The contents of the package will be placed on the Customs Form, along with the total cost of product. All international orders will require insurance to be included.
We can not send any other forms per request such as Specific Government or Verification of Origin forms.
We suggest using a third party shipper if your country requires such forms.
The customer is responsible for all Tax and Customs fees and any other fees due.
Refusal of an order for any reason is subject to our Refused Orders policy.
Note that International orders via PayPal must clear our bank before order will be shipped, which usually will take no more than 4 to 5 days from the date of order.
Any suspicious international orders may be refused. All orders shipped from For Crafts Sake will include insurance that will cover the contents to the destination given as the Ship To address. If the package is to be forwarded to yet another address, the resposibiltity for loss or damage becomes the customers beyond the original destination.
DAMAGE: As all orders are shipped with insurance, any lost or damaged package claims will be handled by our office. If your order is received damaged, please keep all packaging materials as they may be required to resolve a claim.
